Easter at Church led by Year 4

The Year 4 children led our Easter Service where they retold of the betrayal and resurrection of Jesus Christ. Rev Julian Francis then spoke about how the hollow Easter Egg represents the empty tomb when Jesus rose from the dead. Also, the Choir sang Mary’s Song very beautifully.

Well done Year 4 for all your hard work and of course to the Year 4 team for doing such a great job!

Harvest at Church led by Year 2

The whole school went to Church to celebrate the Harvest Festival. Children were asked to bring in a donation as we are always thrilled to give generously to the Karis Neighbourhood Scheme who support those in need in our local area.

Year 2 led the day with some beautiful singing and taught us about how hard the farmers work to grow crops for the Harvest. Year 5 sang a song led by Pat Bullock which they will also sing at St Chads with many other schools on 16th October.

Thank you to all your kind donations. We hope you enjoyed it.

St George’s Day Celebrations

We hope that you had an enjoyable breakfast which was given completely complimentary to celebrate St George’s day. As always it was great to see so many faces of both old and new friends of St George’s.

A big thank you to the cooks Debbie, Norma, Veronica and the rest of their team today for their hard work and for having such a high level of enthusiasm. Also thank you to Morrisons for providing the juice and Dairy Crest for providing the milk cartons for the children.

A big well done to the Year 5 children for performing their amazing songs from the Young Voice concert. You can always see the joy on their faces when they sing these songs. Also to our dance squad who performed their winning piece and to the choir who sang songs alongside Pat. She is very proud of how far they’ve come since she started working with them.
