Welcome to Year 2

Miss. Drayton & Miss. Fenton
Welcome to Year Two! Miss. Drayton and Miss. Fenton are both looking forward to a great year of exciting learning opportunities and experiences for the children!
The journey throughout Year Two is a very important one. Learning will build on the foundation children will have gained in Year One by consolidating, developing and deepening subject knowledge and skills that are essential for bridging the transition into Key Stage Two.
The learning environment in our classroom will be very important so that all children can feel like they can progress, make mistakes and achieve their best. We will encourage a calm and productive classroom. We will have high expectations for the children to follow our school's three golden rules 'Ready, Respectful and Safe'. We will also have high expectations for the children's presentation and work ethic.
Year Two is a great year for the children to gain confidence in their abilities as well as a year in which to have lots of fun!
